Defend the Land, Cleveland!

Cleveland Cavaliers’ pointguard Derrick Rose had an injury on their last game. He sprained his ankle during the game and will be needing time to rest and it will take time for it to heal. Cavs fans are hoping that LeBron James, alongside with his best pal Dwayne Wade, can carry the Cleveland Cavaliers to many victories. They are hoping to get back on track and redeem the title after losing to Goldenstate Warriors. Since Isiah Thomas is also injured, it will be a rough road, but with little perseverance, they can make their fans proud and can win another championship title.

Oh no! Hayward!

Boston Celtics superstar Gordon Hayward was injured during their first game. He had a broken angle at the first quarter as he makes he first game in a Celtics uniform. It will surely be a different season for the Boston Celtics as they lose one of their key players. It’s up to Kyrie Irving, Al Horford, and the rookie Jayson Tatum to carry their team to victory and winning the NBA Championship, but for them to win they must sacrifice and do all the best they can to win many games as they can.

Wilt Chamberlain was able to score 100 points in a single game against the New York Knicks on March 2, 1962. They’ve won the game with the score of 169-147 at Hershey Sports Arena in Hershey. Because of that, Wilt Chamberlain, a player of Philadelphia Warriors, was recognized all over the world. He still holds the record for most points that a single player had in a single game. No one in the whole NBA league has defeated his record. Kobe Bryant almost changed the record but he felt short scoring only 81 point against Toronto Raptors. Sadly, there’s no video footage of the game but statistics show that Chamberlain has made a history the even until today, his record exist.

The G.O.A.T.

Michael Jeffrey Jordan, aka as the Greatest of all Time was very sensational. He changed the game with his smooth moves and crazy finishes. He shocked the world with his MAD SKILLS! he had 5x MVP, 14 NBA all-star appearances, 3 all-star game MVP award, 10 scoring titles, 3 steal titles, and 6 Finals MVP. But did you know that this beast of the hard court was once rejected in trying out for a varsity team at Laney Highschool in Wilmington. Who knew that this player would ever be rejected? but, despite his rejections and failures, he didn’t give up on his dreams. he even said “I can accept failur, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying.” Michael has a spirit of a warrior, same as what we should have. His story shows that we shouldn’t give up on our dreams. We should keep on fighting until we reach our only destination, SUCCESS!

Reunited

Well… since the NBA has been making crazy trades, guess what? The Cleveland Cavaliers acquired Derrick Rose, Isiah Thomas and Jae Crowder. The Cavs is obviously rebuilding to beat the Golden State Warriors and hoping they could redeem the championship trophy. But the main reason for my post is Dwayne Wade is an official player of the Cleveland Cavaliers. He will be playing alongside Lebron James, his best friend, and the other stars that the Cavs acquired. Imagine how much damage they could do on and off the court. They could be even the Kings of the eastern conference. Well, let’s see if their strategies would work. The Golden State Warriors is also getting stronger, they will be needing to exert extra effort to become the Kings of the whole league of the NBA.

What a Trade!

Oklahoma city thunder has been devastated when they heard the news about Kevin Durant leaving its team. Oklahoma was mad about it but, they can’t do anything about it anymore. Because of that, Oklahoma started to rebuild their franchise as they acquire great players like Paul George. But the latest news about the trade was amazing. Oklahoma City Thunder or also known as OKC has recently acquired Carmelo Anthony on their team. This trade could be one of the biggest trade that ever happened. THey cound win a ring with Paul George, Russell Westbrook, and Carmelo Anthony leading the team. OKC fans are hoping that they could bring home the championship trophy. Because of this trade, OKC Thunder has bigger percentage of entering the NBA Finals

Basketball is a famous sport. It is known world-wide and almost everyone is fan of it. Basketball is a sport composed of two teams. Each team has at least 12 players and 5 of them will start the game. Basketball is a fun sport because it can help you make friends and it will strengthen your body.
